I am MP, I was born and raised in Central Florida and I am designing tools, toys, and other cool things. The "M" stands for my first name which my mother's maiden family name and the "P" stands for mine and my father's family name. I respect the legacy of the families that have come before me. I often have believed that there are probably better ways of doing things and that the way it's always been done shouldn't get in the way of simpler or easier ways. Tradition is important and learning from the past is often the key to designing the future.
From a young age, I enjoyed art and sketching. The MP logo, is based on a drawing I did when I was only 6 years old. It has evolved over the years as I have used it as a signature symbol.

Every object bearing "Made by MP" carries a spirit of utility and beauty. Whether it's a credit-card-sized comb with a name etched in its surface or a piece of jewelry or a toy boat, etc., the goal remains the same: to design with pride in every detail, and to make everyday essentials feel natural and seemless.

Made by MP, means it's made with legacy, beauty, and utility in mind.

For example, when I wanted a comb that would fit in my wallet, I researched the origins of combs and hair care. I researched how combs have in the past been made and how their design was informed by the manufacturing methods. I took the measurements of a credit card. I doubled the thickness and cut a comb shape out of it. I use this product in my everyday life as it is always with me in my wallet.
